Our horses are raised together and run as a herd on 3,000 acres at 7,000 feet elevation. Their great temperaments come from the way they’re raised—handled with care, given room to grow, and allowed to be horses. Our exceptional 3 year olds are broke to ride. These young horses have been meticulously trained and are ready to excel in any discipline. Athletic and sure footed mountain bred horses.
Turtle horses are bred at an altitude of 7,000 plus feet and foaled in stables. They are handled and halter broken before being turned out to pasture with their mothers. At six months, they are weaned and then released into the ranch's mountainous terrain of Wyoming to grow and develop naturally.
